employer in Massachusetts when he was injured as he slipped in mud on a
work site while loading a truck. As he fell he hit his right elbow on
the rail of the truck. He was diagnosed with right lateral
epicondylitis, an injury to the right elbow. He continued working in a
light duty capacity for several months before the injury became so
painful that he could no longer continue. He underwent surgery
performed by an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in injuries to the

CASE SUMMARY:
The injured employee is a married man and recently turned 65 years of age. He is a resident of New Hampshire. He had worked as a machinist for the majority of his adult life and was working as a machinist in a Gloucester Massachusetts factory at the time of this devastating injury.
